“Focusing on what Matters”
1. Jesus prioritized prayer, which focused Him on His mission and allowed Him to avoid distractions. (v.35-39)
Application: We need time alone with God if we are going to stay focused on our mission.
2. Jesus was sympathetic to the leper, and that led Him to touch the leper and cleanse him. (v.40-43)
Application: Our love for God must lead us to care for the lost and dying.
3. The leper’s disobedience hindered the ministry of Jesus. (v.44-45)
Application: Our good intentions must fall under the authority of God’s will, not our own.
